The project is divided into 7 work packages which make up 2 'clusters'.

The first work package (WP1) involves coordination, which will be handled by a steering committee composed of four participants.

The industrial coordinator is Mr. Joris Devos of Cobelgal who was the main coordinator for the Bamboo for Europe project.   He has a long experience in technology transfer from Europe to Asia, Africa and South-America. His role will be to orient the project towards industrial applications.

The scientific coordinator will be Prof. Dr. Elvira Fernandez (University of the Philippines Los Baños).   She has extensive experience in supervising  fundamental and applied research and will be responsible for the overall coordination of scientific work.

The coordinator for technology transfer will be INBAR, an international organization engaged in  South-South technology transfer.
